
Software Engineer (SAP ECC ABAP Developer)

- You will be part of team operating in DevOps mode for the existing SAP ECC R3 system, contribute towards ongoing end to end S4/HANA transformation.
- You will take complete responsibility of Development as well as Support.
- You will develop sophisticated, company-specific applications in SAP ERP and S/4HANA environment based on ABAP OO programming.
- You will optimize business processes, develop solutions for digitalization and harmonization in connection with relevant SAP systems and support the operational implementation.
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP systems with third-party tools and platforms.
- You will proactively identify and resolve issues in the DevOps lifecycle, including system errors, deployment failures, or configuration issues.
- By recording the commercial processes and familiarizing yourself with the systems, you will obtain a picture of the present status by hands on experience with support from the whole team.
- You will work closely with the specialists in the team to find valuable ideas for further improvements.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings to ensure alignment with project timelines and deliverables.
- Several years of experience (4+) in programming with ABAP/ -OO in SAP MM & SD & FI modules.
- Experience in planning, creating and managing APIs such as RESTful or IDOC to enable effective communication between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Perform regular maintenance of SAP systems and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to teams working on SAP landscapes.
- Ability to analyze system performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimizations for SAP applications.
- Interest in staying updated on emerging SAP technologies, tools, and industry trends to recommend process improvements.
- Previous experience of working with geographically dispersed multicultural environment, experience with ticketing and project management tools such as GSN, JIRA, Confluence etc.
