Our Health IT software team has been developing and selling data warehousing solutions for over twelve years.Job Summary:A Senior Healthcare Analyst should understand future business needs with the latest trends, technologies, and advancements in the healthcare industry. Applying this knowledge to inform analyses and recommendations.The lead consultant should be result-oriented and a subject matter expert. The environment is fast-paced and innovative. We are looking for others to join us who will take charge and ownership of responsibility, work collaboratively, and always look for ways to add to the personal and professional growth of the company and their peers.The successful candidate should have rich clinical experience, awareness of healthcare and payer market concepts, a good understanding of medical coding, and possess excellent communication and problem-solving ability.Roles and Responsibilities:As a Senior Healthcare Analyst, this professional will join our team to lead product development and support in all clinical specification development life cycle phases. We are looking for a person with the ability to:
  • Conduct in-depth healthcare data analysis, including claims, member records, and financial information. Interpreting trends, patterns, and outliers to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Leverage healthcare information systems, electronic health records (EHRs), and other technology platforms to access, analyze, and provide data-driven recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Review the accuracy, integrity, and validity of the healthcare analytical work of the project team and ensure Milliman’s quality control processes and procedures are being followed.
  • Contribute and collaborate in healthcare-related projects, meeting timelines and deliverables.
  • Responsible for composing business requirements documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Understanding of future business needs within a changing environment and developing long-term goals and strategies extending over a significant time span
  • Supporting business development efforts and additional growth opportunities
  • Actively contribute to other consulting assignments with other Milliman offices or practices
  • Representation (blogs, HCF, white papers, industry events)
  • Work both independently and in a cross-functional team environment
  • Potential to be client-facing, including collaboration with our customers, as well as opportunities to present results and demonstrate your expertise
  • Provide guidance and training to junior analysts or team members.
  • Responsible for project subtask
Required Qualifications:
  • Clinical experience of 5+ years
  • Proficient in healthcare practices and processes in the US, Middle East, and other regions, with extensive hands-on experience in these areas.
  • Project management and Supervisor skills
  • Manage a team of 3-5 professionals in the relevant area
  • MBBS/Registered Nurse/BDS/MDS/B Pharm or M Pharm/MPH
  • Demonstrate expertise in medical terminology, medical coding, and conditions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is a must
  • Demonstrated professional attributes for Flexibility, Sensitivity to Quality, Results Orientation, and Compatibility with Collaboration
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
  • Trained in Public health/community medicine
  • Advanced data analytics experience
  • Effectively uses enterprises technologies and business processes to manage work
