Job Overview We are seeking a Junior Accountant with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team at Good Five Yes Job Consultancy. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting our senior accountants in managing the financial transactions and records of our clients. This is a full-time position based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India with a focus on general accounts, GST, Tally, financial accounting, billing process, invoice processing, and documentation. Qualifications And Skills 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting or related field Knowledge of general accounting principles and practices Familiarity with GST regulations and compliance Proficiency in Tally software for financial recording and reporting Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Good understanding of financial accounting and bookkeeping Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Organizational and time management skills Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred Roles And Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day financial transactions and bookkeeping activities Prepare and maintain financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments Handle general accounts duties such as bank reconciliations and journal entries Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report preparation Ensure compliance with accounting and tax regulations Collaborate with senior accountants to support financial analysis and planning Contribute to the billing process and invoice processing Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and records
