Job Description - Sales and Business Development Manager Title: Manager - Sales and Business Development (International Markets) Location: Jaipur/Flexible Reports to: Business Head (Exports) Work Experience: Minimum 8-15 years Pre-Requisites: 8-15 years of successful sales and business performance in the Jewelry Industry, focusing on international markets like USA, Europe, and Gulf, with additional experience in South East Asian markets being advantageous. Proficiency in key account management, including merchandising skills, commercial acumen, competitive analysis, and persuasive communication to foster long-term relationships with key customers. Ability to develop quotations based on jewelry costing, including materials like stones, metals, and labor. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal team members. Excellent spoken and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel). Key Responsibilities: Achieve target revenue generation and expand market share while ensuring top-line and bottom-line growth. Identify business opportunities by nurturing existing sales accounts and acquiring new clients in international jewelry markets. Develop and execute business plans to achieve annual targets, communicating effectively with management and team members. Generate orders to meet revenue and profit margin goals. Drive new client acquisition through strategic approaches, presentations, and offers aligned with company strengths. Manage gemstone and diamond inventory to procure profitable orders. Monitor order book position and forecast. Review work orders, collaborate with operations team, and support business development initiatives. Ensure quality of merchandising and timely delivery of proposals, samples, orders, and payments. Coordinate with product development and production teams to fulfill customer orders. Maintain customer satisfaction through quality service and resolve any issues promptly. Prepare and submit reports related to sales and marketing activities. Train, motivate, and develop the team to achieve targets. Conduct performance reviews and weekly meetings with the team. Stay updated on changing market trends and adapt offerings accordingly. Anticipate and influence customer trends and demands proactively. Continuous learning and development are essential to thoroughly understand and respond to evolving market dynamics.
