As an Accounts Executive, you will be responsible for handling various financial and accounting tasks within the organization. Your primary role is to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, maintain financial records, and support the overall financial management of the company. You will work closely with the finance team and report to the Finance Manager. Key Responsibilities Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and other financial data using appropriate accounting software or tools. Invoicing and Billing: Prepare and process invoices for customers and clients. Ensure invoices are accurate, timely, and properly recorded in the accounting system. Accounts Receivable Management: Monitor and track outstanding customer payments. Follow up with customers to ensure timely payments and address any payment-related queries or discrepancies. Accounts Payable Management: Manage vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers and service providers. Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of financial data and resolve any discrepancies. Expense Management: Review and process employee expense reports. Verify expenses and ensure compliance with company policies. Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries as required. Provide financial data and analysis to support management decision-making. Tax Compliance: Assist with tax-related tasks, including the preparation and filing of tax returns and ensuring compliance with relevant tax regulations. Audit Support: Collaborate with auditors during financial audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations for audit purposes. Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process by providing relevant financial information and analysis. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization and revenue enhancement. Process Improvement: Suggest and implement improvements in accounting processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Requirements Educational Background: A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA) can be advantageous. Experience: Previous experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or similar position, is desirable. Knowledge: Sound knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant laws and regulations. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel is essential. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping and data entry. Communication: Effective communication skills to interact with team members, clients, and vendors. Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently to meet deadlines. Analytical Thinking: Analytical mindset to interpret financial data and generate meaningful insights. Integrity: High ethical standards and ability to handle confidential financial information with discretion.
