- As the Farmer Engagement Lead, you will oversee a team of agriculture Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) dedicated to cultivating trust within the farming community and enhancing the Vegrow brand.- Your role will also involve facilitating cross-functional collaboration with business teams to generate insights, drive business objectives, and become stakeholders in the planning process.Responsibilities : - Manage a team of Agriculture SMEs, providing leadership and guidance to achieve team goals.- Drive lead generation activities to facilitate business transactions and growth.- Conduct market surveys to gather valuable insights and information about specific regions.- Gather information from farmers to generate business insights and drive decision-making.- Design and execute marketing campaigns to enhance the visibility of the Vegrow brand within the farming community.- Develop a thorough understanding of agricultural categories and implement systems to enable remote sales.- Implement strategies to foster the growth of the farmer community through diverse engagement initiatives.- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the overall productivity of the team.Skills and Qualifications :- 3-6 years of experience in a similar role, preferably with startups or in the agricultural sector.- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven approach.- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.- Proficiency in MS Excel and experience in building reports.- Preferred MBA (ref:updazz.com)
