Civil Engineer - Utility scale projects

- You'll own the execution of site grading and leveling for utility scale PV/BESS projects.
- You'll collaborate with service providers on various site studies and survey reports, review proposals/RFPs etc.
- You'll closely collaborate with the project managers, enabling them to effectively communicate with our customers, utility companies/contractors, administrative/government agencies etc.
- You'll assist with responding to RFPs, conduct feasibility studies as needed.
- You'll be innovative and proactive in providing solutions/solution approaches.
- You'll perform other duties and special projects as assigned, while working with other teams to ensure clients' needs and internal deadlines are met.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 4-6 years of experience in Site Grading Analysis for utility scale PV/BESS projects.
- Proficiency in plant layouts, laboratory and/or field-testing protocols and other reports.
- Experience with Civil3D, AutoCAD etc.
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Comfortable with executing multiple design iterations as per client requirements.
- Good understanding of technical specifications of Solar Modules, Inverters, mounting systems & BoS.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision and resolve issues independently based on project/company standards.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven record of good judgment and analytical skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with engineering, construction, and customer facing teams.
- Experience with executing utility scale projects in North America.
- Experience in STAAD.
