Position Summary: The Finance Manager is required to support the Accounting department based in Melbourne, Australia by performing clerical tasks, including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports and budgets, lodging taxes, fielding communications with vendors, company secretarial duties, as needed. Key Responsibilities: Respond to day-to-day finance queries in a timely manner Processing accounts payable and employee expense claims Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards to source documents and ensuring compliance to company policy Preparation of challans Generation of E-Invoice and submit it on GST portal Lodge GSTR1 and GSTR3B on a monthly basis. Lodge GSTR9 and GSTR 9C on yearly basis Lodging GST refunds Lodging TDS returns and preparing TDS liability workings on a monthly basis Filing of Professional Tax Returns Filing of Form3CEB for Transfer Pricing Filing of FLA return for FEMA Compliance Auditing tax declarations received from employees and preparing tax calculators Processing month-end journals including payroll journal, prepayments and depreciation Assist the Finance Team to close out month end including balance sheet reconciliation Key Qualifications: Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business/Accounting/Finance Experience in Xero Accounting Software Experience lodging GST and TDS Experience in Transfer Pricing is an advantage Competencies: Understanding of accounting payable/receivable principles Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers High degree of accuracy and numerical literacy Highly competent PC skills, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint Willingness to go the extra mile to reach deadlines High levels of attention to detail, organisational and time management skills Self-initiative with the ability to work autonomously Benefits: Flexibility in work hours, with a focus on managing energy rather than time.
