- You must be a hands-on self-starter with a structured thinking / problem solving mindset and one who is comfortable dealing with a high level of ambiguity
- Your experience in Banking sector in India may have been gained either as a Technology Consultant
- You must be able to understand the solution design and provide application support
- You must be able to understand the functional and technical requirements, and do any development based on the same
- You must be able to handle preparation & support of unit testing, support SIT/UAT team during testing and preparation of rollout
- You must be able to perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents, design and execute test plans
- You must be able to manage and maintain server and client configurations, investigate the issues reported by users and provide the solution for L1 / L2 issues and coordinate with L3 teams for resolution
- You must be able to help in preventive monitoring & maintenance, and identify opportunity for continuous improvement
- You may have worked with clients in India, the Middle East or South-East Asian markets and may have exposure to either the Banking/NBFC, Payments or the Insurance industry
- You are flexible to work out of client locations, as per client's working calendar
- Strong coding skills - Core Java, J2EE, Javascript, Webservices, JSP, Servlets and EJB
- Have good understanding on JBOSS server
- Good DB skill - MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, Hands on experience in using SQL developer etc.
- Must have worked in any of the Banking projects as developer
- Good to have working experience in a maintenance project
- Hands on experience as a Developer on Newgen Tools i.e. OmniDocs, OmniScan, iBPS, MDM, BAM reporting tool, Image processing Tools (IPS) is a plus
- Must have done API integration of external interfaces with Newgen Tools
- Good-to-have experience in interface development
- Complete understanding of the SDLC lifecycle, technical and functional understanding to effectively handle support issues
- Ability to translate FSD to TSD and prepare FSD for minor business requirements
- Ability to document & execute unit test cases
- Ability to communicate clearly across teams in the project and having excellent verbal and written communication skills for articulating ticket analysis, resolution and documentation
- Willing to work in overlapping shifts
- You are an B.E. / B. Tech from a top tier institution
- Analyst Role: A minimum of 3 years of Technology Consulting or Development with at least one year in Application Maintenance is required
- Consultant Role: A minimum of 5 years of Technology Consulting or Development with at least two years in Application Maintenance is required
- Ability and proven experience to work in large, complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business and technology solutions for financial institutions
- Responsibilities include providing service excellence by identifying key application issues, determining needs by supplementing the standard assessment techniques and tools with innovative approaches, evaluating, and validating analysis and developing recommendations for the client in the context of the overall engagement
- Good excel, power point and presentation skills. Data analytics skill is an advantage
- Basic understanding of developing customer journeys and Agile/Scrum project management methodologies are welcome
- Candidates with prior maintenance and support experience will be preferred
