Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Testing and Troubleshooting Service Engineer specializing in Electrical Panels to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of electrical panels and associated systems. As a Testing and Troubleshooting Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and safety of electrical panels for our clients. Responsibilities: Testing and Commissioning: Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning of electrical panels, including switchgear, distribution boards, control panels, and associated components. Conduct functional tests, insulation resistance tests, continuity tests, and performance tests to ensure compliance with specifications and standards. Generate detailed test reports and documentation, including as-built drawings, test procedures, and equipment records. Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identify and diagnose electrical faults, malfunctions, and performance issues in panels and control systems. Utilize diagnostic tools, schematics, and technical manuals to isolate problems and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop troubleshooting strategies and preventive maintenance plans. Repairs and Maintenance: Perform repairs, adjustments, and component replacements to rectify electrical faults and restore functionality. Conduct preventive maintenance activities, including cleaning, lubrication, and calibration of equipment, to prolong equipment lifespan and prevent downtime. Provide recommendations for equipment upgrades, modifications, or enhancements to improve reliability and performance. Customer Support: Interface directly with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide technical assistance and support. Requirements: Bachelor's degree/Diploma in electrical engineering or related field. 4-8 years of experience in testing, troubleshooting, and servicing electrical panels and control systems. Strong knowledge of electrical principles, components, and systems, with a focus on panels and switchgear. Proficiency in diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and software applications used in electrical testing and troubleshooting. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE, NEMA). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
