Job Title:Senior Logistics Finance AnalystSummary: In this role, you will oversee the analysis of Logistics costs and support the Business Units with understanding their freight spend.Responsibilities Include:Work with Senior Analysts on monthly financial close activities, all planning, forecasting, and reporting modelsHelp Business Units understand freight cost on the material level through advanced analysis.Proven ability to develop strategic relationships with your business partners – you influence the decisions. You can root cause issues quickly and uncover core issues using data, then assist, consult with, and teach the business how decisions affect costs in their sites and create new mechanisms as they are neededHelp the logistics operations team identify and develop key business opportunities and drive efficiency.Expertise in collecting, analyzing, and managing quantitative data and creating meaningful analyses to lead business improvement and cost reductionsPartner with Logistics, IT, and Supply Chain teams to drive costs outProven track record of taking ownership and driving results individually and through their teamDemonstrated ability to build and manage financial models for business forecasting, variance analysis, and problem-solvingStrong ability to work with business leaders to deliver results, including the ability to persuade with data.An eye towards continuous process improvement, including the ability to innovate and simplify both finance and operational processesAbility to think at both the strategic and implementation level – to think big while also diving deepComplete other duties as assignedQualifications:The following are required for the roleBA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science)4+ years of progressive Finance experience as a Finance Analyst, Cost Analyst, Operations Analyst, or related roleCritical thinking and strategic mindsetStrong Material Cost Planning & Analysis, Financial analysis, BudgetingExcellent communication skillsDemonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams in a global environment across different time zonesFluency in English is mandatoryStrong working experience using SAP/Business WarehouseAdvanced MS Excel (Filters, Pivots, Dynamic Charts, Formulas, VLOOKUP, Power BI, and MS PowerPoint experienceWorking knowledge of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls including the Sarbanes-Oxley Act; U.S. accounting rules and regulations including historical cost, revenue recognition, matching, and full disclosure principlesWhat We Offer:At Momentive, we value your well-being and offer competitive total rewards and development programs.
