Translate customer’s identification requirements and select the instruments / automation accordingly.
You are responsible for selection of right instruments, PLC Hardware, DCS / SCADA as per the system requirement or as per URS and also review P & Diagrams and ensure that it meets as per the requirement.
Preparation of Automation Annexure & Automation Architecture and costing of control panel as per the system requirement.
To prepare and update the price list of Instruments, Automation Components, Electrical and Pneumatic Accessories.
You have to co-ordinate with all your sub-ordinates to preparation of P & I Diagrams related to instruments & Automation.
Preparation of FS (Functional Specification), Installation, Operation & Maintenance Manual and any other documents like IO List, Risk Analysis, and Validation Documents etc.
You have to co-ordinate with design & automation after post order activity.
Maintain ISO related documents.
To identify the new tools / hardware to used for new applications and extension of current architecture.
Any other specific assignment given by your HOD and GM (Design & Project).
Keep track of changing market needs and expectations and modify design accordingly.
You are also responsible for Standardization of instruments related to product and maintain the track records.
You have to be ready to visit customer site for technical discussion if require.

Ideal Profile

Electrical Power, Control & instrumentation knowledge
All kind of Field Instruments like Temperature, Pressure, DPT, Level Sensors, Load cell, different type of Flow meters, all kind of PID controls, Transmitters, Transducers, Signal splitters, Signal Isolators
PLC, HMI & IPC (Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Siemens etc.)
21 CFR Part 11 compliance, EU Annexure 11, GAMP5
Able to understand Electrical Drawings/SLD for Power & Control/GA Drawings/Plant Layouts/Process & Instrumentation Diagrams(P&ID)/Process Flow chart
FLP with ZONE I/II; ATEX; IEC-Ex; CE & UL certification
ISO 9001-2015 policies & documentation
Health & Safety standards, Quality Management
Good communication skills for to discuss/convince clients, Inter-departmental communication
