Basic respposibility : Constuction Equipment ( Backhoe Loader, Motor Grader, Haulage Tractor) parts devlopment & delivery of projects wrt project time lines. Required following relevent key responsibility & key deliverables: Knowledge cost estimation , Quote synthesis , VOB co-ordination with SSU. Manufacturing process knowledge for Valves , Pumps, Tubes , hoses, HVAC system , Steering system , adaptors etc Complete familiarity of vendor selection and business nomination process . Knowledge of imported parts & buying process for imported parts. Development knowledge of tools , fixtures gauges required for hydraulic system. Variance analysis at each stage of development in terms of Quality & Delivery & corrective action Effective co-ordination with the Design team, Strategic sourcing , CDMM & Plant teams in order to ensure first time right delivery.MPDS and project gateway deliverables Ability to drive project QCD Targets from front with agility and ownership. Developing parts as per APQP process with first time right. Knowledge of PPAP & PTR. Active participation in product Quality reviews and timely closure/escalationg of high impact issues. Support Production Vehicel Engineering Tean (PVT) for analysis of field warranty issues related to vendor part quality. Obsolescence control and monitoring. Drive cost reduction projects - Must understand and coordinate the IMCR drive. Ability to generate the cost saving ideas and drive them for implementation in an cross functional environment. Functional Competency Knowledge on CE Industry + manufacturing process Hydraulics commodity, Properiotory parts . Knowledge of Suppliers for CE industry , across India & oversees Knowledge of Quality tools, APQP,PPAP,FMEA. Knowledge of SAP Exp.- 6 to 10 Years BE/B Tech - Mechanical or Production
