And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet's beauty for the generations to come.We are looking for:Energetic process engineerSelf starterMust not be a job hopperProvide technical expertise and day-to-day engineering support to the manufacturing facilityMust interact with all relative departments for solving process problems and help improve efficiencyWe count on you for:OEE ImprovementsProcess safety indicatorsManufacturing Excellence performance objectives.Variable cost savingsQuality of projects and studiesFinished product CPk, CPIRespect of the forecasted expenditures.Quality of project definition (in interaction with R&I)Quality of team performanceVariable cost savingsProcess safety indicatorsUpdated process bookTeam safety performanceYou can count on us for:Participate in the determination of the technical feasibility and the economic value of a project or study.Manage assigned projects or sub projects under supervision of the manager; take corrective actions when necessary.Define and supervise projects and studies conducted by others.Follow up scientific and technological developments and market evolutions within the own domain of expertise.Evaluate and benchmark the competitiveness of the expertise of Solvay within the own domain of expertise.Continuously research innovative approaches and solutions, and develop proposals for process improvement programs.Support the Manufacturing Excellence program.Contribute to the development of product & technology research programs.Execute on demand of his/her manager specific studies about plant performance, production capacity utilization, and the effectiveness of process improvement projects.Contribute to the development of proposals and projects.Coordinate and follow up plant process improvement projects.Test the production of new products in a Pilot Plant or (directly) in the Industrial Plant.Perform test-production in an industrial plant in order to evaluate the quality of the product, the capacity, the cost, the impact on the performance of the plant…Analyze and define the modifications to the production process needed to produce the new product.Ensure that the own activities and initiatives respect the HSE rules, regulations and policies.Support the manager regarding the compliance with HSE rules, regulations and policies.Propose solutions for internal and external customer demands and complaints.When demanded by the GBU, provide process technology support to customers, suppliers and auditors (if requested).Assist the manager in his support activities towards the business and to product development departments.Compile all kinds of documents and data including technical, technological or process information and prepare process book and reports, under supervision of the manager.Collect, analyze and report all information regarding the performance of the entity.Assist in the development of annual operational and capital investments budgets.Execute delegated assignments focusing on the optimization of the department's organization and performance (e.g. cost).Inform colleagues about and/or train them in new methods, procedures and techniques specific to the own domain of expertise.Support and advice staff in the resolution of complex problems.You will bring:Bachelors of Engineering (Mech / Chemical) or equivalent relevant experienceMinimum 12-15 years manufacturing/ engineeringFew year experience in Project ManagementProven results-oriented personSelf-motivation, determination and teamwork skillsGood managerial and communication skills (oral and written)You will get:Competitive salary and benefits package16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulationsTraining platform for all employeesFree language courses (24 languages available)Free well-being sessions (physical and psychological)About us
