About the client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Head Site Operations for a fast-growing listed pharmaceutical and contract manufacturing company. Job Purpose The purpose of this role is to lead and ensure operational excellence by strengthening the foundation and daily operations across multiple disciplines and enabling functions. Key Responsibilities This role is primarily responsible for managing all key aspects of the business/ collaboration - operational efficiency, infrastructure, personnel, and customers; ensuring efficient running of the site as per plan; and overseeing scientific deliverables. Annual Plan for Plant Operations Preparing and Monitoring budgets Review operating costs and ensure to manage as per budgets through resource optimization. Execute manufacturing products with stringent quality standards Ensure statutory compliance for the plant Ensure capacity planning Ensure optimization of material planning /manufacturing and deliveries Manpower planning and proper allocation, Training Adhering to Environment Health and Safety measures Proving support to R&D Support/ Oversee the launch of new products, new projects, and facilities Liaisoning and relationship management with local bodies and coordinate with regulatory agencies Responsible for compliance with all the relevant quality systems Take an active role in the recruitment of members into key positions across work streams. Ensure timely goal setting, monitoring, review of performance parameters, and feedback to team members. Constantly monitor safety and environmental impact and ensure compliance with EHSS policies. Educational Qualifications And Experience BPharm/ Mpharm/ MSc Leadership experience including the ability to set direction, manage and motivate people and work collaboratively with other teams. Track record in client relationship management and customer service delivery A minimum of 20+ years of overall experience in pharma formulations with exposure to various dosage forms including OSD, Injectables etc, with at least 5+ years in heading plant/ site operations.
