Boeing India Engineering seeks Experienced Electronics Digital Design & Analysis Engineer to support and sustain the Hardware Design Capabilities organization across multiple product lines and platforms like Satellites, space and aviation and to join their team in Bangalore, India . Position Responsibilities: Lead activities to create hardware architecture for complex component/system level products Lead Embedded Software-Hardware Partitioning, Discrete design-FPGA allocations, Circuit Design, Schematic Capture, Board Layout & Circuit Simulation with a focus on Safety and Reliability requirements Lead analysis and translation of complex requirements into system architecture, hardware design and interface specifications. Must have strong experience in designing low to high power electronic boards inclusive of power supplies, mixed signal processing, signal processing needs and high-speed digital interfaces. Must have experience in integrating RF solutions. Lead testing and validation work on complex system designs to assure that operational and functional requirements are met, with focus requirements for manufacturing readiness assessments, certification, safety and reliability. Strong experience in qualifying products to DO160/MIL Stds with good knowledge over commercial standards like VITA, VPU Work with others to develop program development, design, test and deployment strategies Manage performance of critical suppliers to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements Lead program independent reviews and reports results to program leadership Provide inputs on reuse and optimization of target hardware. Lead technical roadmap for product. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry 10-12 years of experience in Electronics design. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in creating hardware architecture for systems and products Experience leading engineering projects, through complete hardware product life cycle Experience with electronic hardware designand analysis (PowerPC processors, Printed Circuit boards,VME Bus, PCI Bus, CPCI, XMC, VPX, DDR, JTAG, Memories, Xilinx, Actel, Processors, Multiprocessor SoC, Safety Flow Analysis, Processor bringup, mixed signal (adc and dac), amplifier, filter, power supply, analog circuit designs, sensor and sensor/sensitive controllers) Experience with electromechanical packaging (thermal analysis, vibration analysis, component fatigue, shock analysis, high voltage electronic packaging) Experience with Manufacturing of Electronic Assemblies (manufacturing readiness assessments, Rapid Prototyping, dfmat, electronics manufacturing) Ability to create hardware software partitioning and validate requirements to integrate functional requirements/testing Experience in delivering Hardware design, development and testing plans and validation needs Experience in validating designs and subcomponents for Stress, Timing, Radiation Hardening, latch up/Down and validating against requirements with a focus on safety (Design Assurance levels) Typical Education & Experience: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10-12 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master with related work experience, etc.).
