We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Primary Teacher to join our team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French to primary school students, creating engaging lesson plans, and fostering a positive learning environment. The French Primary Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in French language and culture, promoting language acquisition, and supporting the overall academic and personal development of our students. Responsibilities: Develop and implement dynamic lesson plans that align with the French curriculum and educational standards for primary school students. Teach French language skills including speaking, listening, reading, and writing through a variety of instructional methods such as games, songs, storytelling, and interactive activities. Integrate French culture, traditions, and current events into lessons to provide students with a well-rounded understanding of the language and its context. Assess student progress regularly through quizzes, tests, projects, and other assessment tools, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued, respected, and motivated to learn. Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary units and activities that incorporate French language and culture across the curriculum. Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, academic achievements, and areas for improvement. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about best practices in language instruction and pedagogy. Supervise students during non-instructional times such as recess, lunch, and field trips, ensuring their safety and well-being. Perform other duties as assigned by the school administration.
