Due to continued success in its area Grassroots Energy is looking for a Design engineer to join the team to manage the accounts to facilitate its growth plans and improve the existing processes and systems. Grassroots Energy has founding team from Harvard, IIT-Bombay, and Babson. Responsibilities: Design Engineer (Bangalore) Design the Bioenergy products and equipments leading to clean fuels and optimization. Analyze the existing Industrial processes of the client and design schematics for the Interact with field and project teams to test and deploy the equipment. engineering teams to plan the next steps. Design the remote monitoring and automation processes to improvise the operations. Data processing of the field operations. Travel is about 15-30% of the time. The Candidate: 4-8 years in designing of energy plants/Infrastructure /Manufacturing/ Process Control/ Maintenance etc. Experience with process instrumentation preferred. Understanding of fabrication and manufacturing basics is useful. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, and related software skills required. Experience in biogas, STP/ETP plants, waste to energy, distillery operations is preferred. This is a high growth role and candidates should be willing to learn new skills quickly and contribute proactively. The ability to stay versed with the advancements in technology & engineering design Education: Mechanical/Electrical Engineer from leading universities Desired Skills: 1. Excellent communicator and able to express the concerns and issues on a regular trends. basis. 2. MS Office applications including word, excel, PowerPoint, etc. 3. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills. 4. Entrepreneurial mindset to be agile and go-getter. 5. Team management skills required. 6. Quick learner, on the field to improvise the operations.
