It will support not only the business development in India, but also the global product portfolio of the Company.Position Summary:The Senior Engineer - Wiring harness, Schematics & PASD Integration will be responsible for developing systems/subsystems for Small & Medium tractors (30-300+hp) segment. Position is part of Small & Medium Ag. Tractor PDE team at ITC and requires close collaboration with local/global peers, local and global leaders to transform the value generated for organisation & for the stakeholders. Nature of work shall predominantly be focused on Product Design across new & current product development, VA/VE, sustenance engineering, etc.Primary Responsibilities:The person should be expert level in Electrical Integration & High voltage applications area.. Within the area of responsibility assigned to the Electric systems integration, the candidate will be part of a Design team working in developing new projects related to a tractor range or maintenance/modifications of current product for functional or Quality improvement targets while defining the best technical, economical and manufacturing solutions for Electric systems.. Leads the definition of layout of the components (motors, inverters, Energy Storage, cooling…) together with the shared technologies experts (Electrification, DAS, AME, Cab, etc.) and the Project Leader, keeping in consideration piece cost, investments, timing, and complexity reduction. Should be able to prepare & modify modular structure for System architecture & Schematics.. Will be working (if required) with Platform, CPM (Current Project Management), Manufacturing, Testing and others· respect vehicle architect and packager requirements· complete eBoM (engineering Bill of Material) structure in PLM· provide system schemes and homologation drawings· lead design reviews & D-FMEA's as requested· support prototype phase by Work Orders· provide technical support to other company functions (Product Validation, Technical publication, etc.)· resolve Electrical area reliability issues (PIR's, EW)· provide support to Manufacturing with presence during the launch phases (development, pre-build, 4P)· create and manage components libraries (share point). Drive Modularity, Cost reduction, standardisation initiatives in respective competency area.Functional/Technical Deliverables:· Responsible for delivering the work in an autonomous mode with limited supervision from ITC in close collaboration with global teams focusing Execution Excellence on Time, Quality and productivity KPIs· To be able to Mentor / Coach junior engineers on technical skills while delivering 1 or more programs at a given time.· Responsible for growing technology of products in responsibility area, liasing with external / internal stakeholdersEducation Qualification:BE and/or ME in Electrical / Electronics or equivalent discipline is preferred from reputed instituteDetails of Work experience:· A minimum of 14 years overall experience; preferable from Agricultural tractors/ Harvesters/Agricultural products domain· A minimum of 5 years specific experience in independently handling complex programs (more than 1) in Electrical Integration / PASD Technical area.· Knowledge of CAD tools Creo Cabling, Capital CHS, PLM system (TC) in a large organization.· Knowledge of new product development process for product/platform product is desired.· Experience working with global teams and as part of large virtual teams and driving for results.· Ability to influence and build relationsProcess oriented approach with hands on DFMEA, Risk assessment, Design review & 6/7/8 Step Problem resolution processesExposure to Six Sigma (DFSS, DMAIC) is desired.CTC Details (Optional: For internal use)in LPACTC Details (Optional: For internal use)in LPA
