JOB ROLETeam Member or Team Leader for Measurement, Data Analysis and counter-measure proposal for vehicle NVH Testing.JOB RESPONSIBILITY· Independently instrument test vehicle / component and measure data as per standards· Analyze measured data and come up with root-cause analysis of problems· Suggest feasible countermeasures for NV problems based on discussions with design teams· Present results to design teams, CAE and management for counter-measure approval or Vehicle NV Concept design· Design test standard, process, jigs and fixtures for NVH testing of vehicle components like motors, alternators, compressors, etc· Develop script for data analyticsCOMPETENCY REQUIRMENTSFUNCTIONAL· Knowhow of ICE, HE and E-Vehicle workings and mechanisms· Sound knowledge of automobile acoustics- Motor, Inverter, powertrain, accessories (alternator, fans, etc) , driveline NVH, mounting system vibration, road and wind noise· Basic knowhow of NVH tests and ISO standards – Pass By Noise, Modal testing, Transfer Path Analysis, Panel contribution measurement, FRF measurements· Hands on experience on using NV measurement sensors – microphones, accelerometers, tacho sensors, CAN data loggers, Impact hammer, shaker, Volume Velocity Sources, Data acquisition systems, etc· Knowledge of SQ parameters like prominence ratio, Tonality, etc· Experience in NVH Test data analysis software like Siemens Test.Lab, Head Acoustics Artemis, B&K BK connect, Muller BBM Pak, etcBEHAVIORAL· Openness to learning, sharing experience, skillful trainer & disseminate learning in related field to group member. Good driving skills are a must
