Overview of the job We are looking for an energetic person to join our Consumer Research lab in India, to be based in Mumbai. This lab is focused on getting deep understanding of Indian consumer that will help us design the right innovations and product propositions to delight the consumer. This role will provide a great opportunity for an individual looking to impact innovation programs across multiple categories via helping design and accelerate consumer research capabilities and tools. The person in this role will work closely with the different category R&D and Product Researcher community to understand their innovation needs and bring the right consumer research tools and/or guide them on the study design planning and pilot new consumer research methods and tools. He/She must operate with discipline, be organized, and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners. This role entails driving transformation of the way we work into the future via experimenting and driving adoption of digital tools and more efficient systems/approaches. In addition, this role will provide an opportunity to engage and work with the global R&D Product Research community across the company to increase adoption, scale and mastery of consumer research and stewardship. We also would look for the person to establish capabilities for fundamental Habits & Practices/behavioral understanding and measurement. It requires the person to build analytic tools/models from consumer data, H&P data, synthesize x-category data/learnings etc., So, an ideal candidate would be someone who has a Masteru2019s or Doctoral degree in Science or Engineering OR consumer/behavioral Science/Market research and analytics or related fields. Prior experience working in any adjacent/ related fields like food, fine fragrances / FMCG industry that involves consumer testing and data analytics is preferred. Key Responsibilities Champion the utilization of new approaches or leading-edge consumer research methodologies and digital tools that are more effective and/or efficient. Lead delivery of digital tools/programming and standardization of product testing programs. Build/scale consumer behavior measurement/analytics tools/models. Able to analyze data independently and make clear conclusion and suggest next steps. Establish operational principles and processes for rapid testing capabilities and oversee daily operations including interaction with consumers/partners. The individual will also be responsible for reporting the status,u00A0results, and conclusions to R&D partners/colleagues, and to the supervisor.u00A0He/she must collaborate proactively with the appropriate business contacts in all involved departments in his/her projects. Must deliver agreed contributions to deliver on projects with good cost, quality and within givenu00A0timing.u00A0 To know more about P&G Research and Development, . Job Qualifications Qualifications Masteru2019s or PhD degree in science or related fields from a reputed institute. Specialization or additional qualification in Sensory Science, Neurosensory, Food Science, Cognitive Science or Behavioral Science Market research is preferred. 2-5 years' proven experience in CPG or field of Market/Product research/ food, fine fragrances industry that involves sensorial measurements is preferred. Strong working knowledge and skills across the full spectrum of Sensory methods (Affective, Effective and perception) is preferred. Experience/knowledge of different kinds of Statistical methods (tools, systems, software etc.). Basic coding/programming skills is an added advantage. Adequate oral and written communication skills in English for common business are a must. Ableu00A0to travel for sporadic business trips mainly within Asia, as needed. Able to work independently, multitask and perform in a high-pressure environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use data to connect multiple ideas and develop solutions.
