- Provide support to existing EDW in shift as support team member
- Perform detailed application debugging and Root Cause Corrective Actions
- Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, polices, and procedures, Complete other duties as assigned
- Extensive experience in Production Support Project & having good understanding of support environments and Service Level Agreements
- Experience in handling major incidents and escalations.
- Diagnosing and resolving data and system issues to ensure warehouse usability for the consumers of the warehouse data
- Performing daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly operations tasks required for the ongoing functionality of the software applications.
- Experience in Cloud-based (Azure, AWS and Google Cloud) Application Support, ideally in a Managed services environment.
- Experience in supporting core business applications within a Software development environment, ideally Azure DW and Snowflake or equivalent cloud data warehouse.
- Experience in Databases and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience in managing data security, confidentiality, integrity and availability.
- Experience in application monitoring and alerts.
- Good problem-solving/troubleshooting skills, quick learner.
- Extensive knowledge of Data Warehousing, ETL and BI Architectures, concepts, and frameworks
- Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, processing, and transformation in Azure.
- Create and maintain data storage solutions including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Utilizing Azure Data Factory or comparable technologies, create and maintain ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) operations.
- Implementing data validation and cleansing procedures will ensure the quality, integrity, and dependability of the data.
- Improve the scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness of data pipelines.
- Monitoring and resolving data pipeline problems will guarantee consistency and availability of the data.
