Senior Engineer - Inprocess Quality

• Control of non-conformance by raising NCRs and reduce non-conformance by providing appropriate training, awareness to concern technicians. Conduct Forthrightly NCR review meeting.
• Audit critical process and products and share findings with concern departments and seek corrective and preventive actions
• Execution of calibration plan and ensure all instruments are getting calibrated as per schedule.
• Review customer complaints; implement corrective and preventive actions with root cause analysis. Elimination of major customer complaints by monitoring effectiveness of Corrective and preventive actions
• Provide necessary training to all concerns for continual improvement of quality. Supervise subordinates and ensure timely execution of inspection activities.
• Participate in daily production meeting, various CFT meetings to understand priorities of business and accordingly delegate tasks to team members.
• Prepare monthly report for Quality.

• Manage and Direct Product QA team to deliver the quality products to customers

• Manage, Control and Review actions to reduce / improve the Customer complaints

• Analyse root cause of failure modes and Execute of Corrective and Preventive actions of customer complaints, finished goods and in-process assemblies / parts

• Lead and direct Continuous improvements meetings with teams to improve the product PPA – FPY figures

• Manage and Execute Product & Process Audits, Logistics, Internal Audits of ISO standards

• Establish, Improve and Retain control plans, procedures, work instructions, birth certificates and checklists for process controls

• Determine technical aspects of product function, component criticality, assembly sequences and component properties by reviewing all aspects

• Active participation for controlling and reducing Cost of poor quality by identifying and monitoring the actions

• Recommend and review the Appraisals of sub-ordinates, Providing motivation to sub-ordinates to pull the maximized their efficiencies and importance in functional level, inspection, testing and assembly technique

• Propose for assembly fixtures, jigs and machineries for error proofing and qualitative production output

• Recommend, implement and maintain instruments and knowledge developing for in-house laboratory to support investigation and product confirmation

• Training needs assessment, recording of trainings imparted & its effectiveness review

• Raise engineering change request as and when required for continuous improvement.

• Carry out calibration of measuring Instrument and maintain valid calibration status.

• Min 5 years of relevant experience in field of quality assurance (preferred Switch Gear)

• Hands-on experience in ISO Standards for ISO 9001 & Material standards.

• Knowledge in assembly techniques and relevant manufacturing processes

• Experience in 5s and Kaizen concepts

• Excellent communication skills, Team Player
