GDC India - Reporting Consultant Job summary: The Workday Project Consultant - Reporting is a vital role that helps our customers visualize the return of their investment in the Workday platform. In this role you will work with customers during all phases of deployment as well as post-production to explore reporting needs, assist with defining requirements, complete development, and deploy solutions. Work will primarily focus on the HCM core module, including related areas such as payroll, recruiting, time tracking, and more. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a Workday reporting expert with knowledge of design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities. Independently manage reporting work on multiple projects in various phases. Leverage your expertise to make recommendations and develop solutions based on the customer's requirements, budget, and timeframe. Duties and Tasks: Guide customers through facilitated design sessions based on best practices and an understanding of the customer's unique business requirements. Coordinate with project teams to align development with customer design decisions. Regularly engage and support the customer through all phases of the project, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to the Workday HCM solution. Provide status updates to the customer, project team, and management on a regular basis. Willingness to take a leadership position on a project or as a Workday Product Lead. Display hands-on expertise of the software, including building complex reports, moving configuration from tenant to tenant, and providing guidance to project team on requirements. Act as a mentor to fellow consultants and associates. Actively participate in internal initiatives to share your skills and experience with others within the organization. Education and Experience Requirements: Practical experience in Workday functional implementation projects (minimum 3 years of project work experience with direct client interaction); Must have active Workday Certification in Advance Reporting Proficient in Workday HCM report writing (Advanced Workday Report Writer, Worksheet and Calculated Field); Good hands-on experience in Workday custom report (Simple, Advanced, Composite, Matrix, nbox, Search, Trending and Transposed); Experience in gathering business requirements, designing, and prototyping, testing, and implementing reporting requirements under multiple deadlines. Demonstrated ability to design and develop Workday reporting and dashboard, Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT); Strong consulting and presentation skills with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations. Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, growing, ecosystem with minimal supervision. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint programs.
