Hello, We have job opportunity for one of the leading MNC in engineering sector kindly find below details and JD Process Design engineer Exp-4+yr Education- BE/Btech- Chemical Np-upto 60 days Note- looking for role purely into design side, good in calculations strictly NO to commissioning, installation, maintenance ,operations profile Preparation of various process engineering deliverables along with comprehensive knowledge on Quality Systems &; Procedure Development of PFD and P&;ID's Perform Process engineering calculations such as Mass &; Energy balances, process / utility pipeline sizing &; pressure drop calculations etc. Perform process calculations related to sizing and selection of process / utility equipment Preparation of specification datasheets of chemical process equipments. Preparation of RFQ for utility systems such as compressed air, chiller, Boiler, cooling tower &; ETP systems. Co-ordinate with inter / intra discipline teams for execution of process engineering deliverables Co-ordinate with various vendors for selection of process equipment &; Technical evaluation of vendor quotes for process equipments and other utility/process package items. Communicate with onsite / offshore team for executing the projects. Travel to Client site within India or abroad for assignments requiring short/long term deputation. Experience of working in process design engineering activities in any of the industries such as Engineering Design Services / Agrochemical / Pharmaceuticals / Bulk drugs / Fine Chemicals / Specialty Chemicals / FMCG Handson experience in execution of various process engineering deliverables as outlined in Job description mentioned above. Handson experience working on process calculations related to heat transfer is a must. Knowledge on calculations related to compressible fluid, Incompressible fluids - both Newtonian and non Newtonian fluids is a must. Knowledge on process design of utility systems for chemical plants. Knowledge on process simulation tool related to piping hydraulics softwares such as AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow, heat transfer simulation tools such as HTRI Knowledge on development of macros with VB code in MS Excel, and experience in plant commissioning activities will be an added advantage.
