Role: Mechanical Design Engineer Job Location: Malad West, Mumbai Responsibilities: Design and develop new product designs from various industry verticals which involve plastics, sheet metal, weldments, and machined parts. Draft 2D drawings for manufacturing. Basic knowledge of FEA Setup and Analysis. Ability to creatively solve problems while designing new products. Work in a team and support other team members. Responsible for detailed engineering design of complex parts in the project. Able to communicate the status accurately to customers in English. Qualifications: A minimum of 2 years of work experience is necessary. Should have excellent 3D designing and modeling skills. Relevant experience in Solidworks's modeling along with training from a recognized institute is preferred. Should have knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, sheet metal, 3D printing, thermoforming, welding, etc. Experience in Machine Designing is a plus. Knows 2D drawing creation for manufacturing. Should have experience in team management and project delivery. Good communication skills in English and interpersonal skills are necessary. Have passion and a sense of urgency to succeed. B.E in Mechanical Engineering Having experience in NX will be a plus.
