- Sales Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, setting clear objectives and targets.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning for lab products.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, researchers, and institutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base.
- Product Knowledge: Stay updated on the features and applications of our lab products to effectively communicate their value proposition to clients.
- Team Development: Recruit, train, and mentor sales staff, ensuring a high level of product knowledge and sales skills.
- Sales Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to senior management.
- Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in sales leadership within the scientific or lab products industry.
- Strong understanding of laboratory products, scientific research processes, and industry dynamics.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Results-driven with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
- Proficient in CRM software and MS Office suite.
- Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.
- Networking abilities within the scientific and research community.
- Relevant certifications in sales or business management.
