EY is looking for a candidate well versed in existing and emerging privacy, data protection laws, AI and related laws and developments. Strong inter-personal skills, report writing skills and good acumen of client business are essential. The candidate shall work on client engagements related to the Information Technology Act and the Intermediary guidelines of India. Should be well versed in existing and emerging privacy, data protection laws, AI and related laws and developments across India region.Client Responsibilities :1. Draft and enhance the privacy, data protection, and cybersecurity clauses in contract templates, refine playbooks and guidance, and negotiate privacy clauses in contracts with our vendors and business partners.2. Conducting privacy risk assessments and data protection impact assessments.3. Drafting and delivering privacy training to staff and driving initiatives to promote privacy awareness.4. Research on issues related to data protection and privacy policies and practices in India and Europe.5. Advisory on avoiding potential liabilities and meet mandatory compliance standards.6. Advisory on potential liabilities and meet mandatory compliance standards.7. Research on latest developments in the field of data protection regulations in India.Qualification
LLB with 2-3 years of experience with specialization in General Corporate Advisory with specialisation in Information Technology laws and Data Privacy.Target colleges : National Law Schools, Symbiosis New Delhi, Symbiosis Pune, Christ Law College Bangalore, Amity Law University, NoidaPeople Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively discharge supervisory responsibilities.
  • Provide real-time constructive verbal feedback to team members and facilitate timely completion of Engagement Review Forms
  • Contribute to effective teamwork in internal engagement situation.
  • Support knowledge sharing efforts and continually improves processes so that the work team can capture and leverage knowledge.
