Overview Main Purpose The TPM (Trade Promotion Management) Sector Lead will ensure that exceptional operational services are provided to sales employees across multiple customer teams in the Sector. TPM responsibilities include timely and accurate input of trade activities by the team for all the trade programs related to the National/Regional Account Sales Teams. Initially, this role will ensure the set-up of trade activities at the beginning of each year, provide ongoing updates or changes to trade activities during the year, and support customer deal sheet updates. This role will be responsible to train, lead and manage a team of 6-8 associates and will be instrumental in identifying continuous improvement opportunities, assisting with the transformation of TPM to drive standardization, and implementing process improvements to improve the quality and timeliness of the overall team's output. Responsibilities Functional Responsibilities: . Lead the Sales TPM team and ensure efficient, effective and comprehensive support of the sales employees across multiple accounts within the Sector . Enable his/her associate's capabilities and enforce consistency in execution of key capability areas TPM input and updates, as well as customer specific key reports . Ensure accurate and timely delivery of tasks . Provide on the job guidance, stewardship to the delivery teams and be personally involved in issue resolution and escalation . Actively conduct on-going review of operational services to drive agility and effectiveness . Ensure delivery of accurate and timely data in accordance with agreed service level agreements (SLA) with the Customer teams. . Monitor and report teams' performance to key stakeholders . Recognize opportunities and take action to improve delivery of work . Implement continued improvements and simplifications of processes, standardization of reporting and optimal use of technology . Learn key tasks of the team in case you need to provide back-up support if a team member is away from the business for an extended period of time People Responsibilities: . Manage and motivate a team of associates (6 directs, 2 indirects) . Facilitate training for team members, involving other support functions and groups as needed . Assist Sector Sales in developing on-going training and capability plans for GBS direct reports . Monitor SLAs and ensure month-end close and forecast timelines are met develop and analyze key business drivers to provide insights to the functional head . Organize weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews for team members to ensure continuous improvement in efficiency, effectiveness and overall integration of the work with the Sector based stakeholders . Conduct on-going reviews of operational services to drive agility and effectiveness . Ensure career growth opportunities for team members and engage in people planning and resource allocation activities Qualifications . English fluency required - both written & verbal . French fluency considered a benefit (not required) . Bachelor's/Master's Degree in commerce/business administration / economics . 8-12 years of experience in business related area . 3+ years of experience of working in a business and managing a team of associates . Strong leadership capabilities . Strong technical knowledge and experience of both Management reporting and planning processes . Experience in leading process excellence and performance improvement . Advanced/Proficient Computer Skills (Outlook, Word, Power Point, Excel) . Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, other data reporting tools would be helpful . Superb organizational, communication, and analytical skills . Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills in order to formulate effective action plans to deal with issues proactively
