The In-Licensing Manager at Mega Life sciences will play a pivotal role in identifying and securing strategic in-licensing opportunities across all therapy areas in unregulated markets, with a particular focus on Asia and Africa in the Formulations space.1. Identify and evaluate potential in-licensing opportunities worldwide in the pharmaceutical industry, encompassing therapeutic areas such as diabetes, GI, Cardio, Ortho, Neurology, Urology, Derma, Oncology, and Ophthalmology.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and regulatory bodies, to source potential partnership opportunities.
3. Collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including Regulatory Affairs (RA), Quality Assurance (QA), Supply Chain (SC), Market Access (MA), Medical and Scientific Services (MSS), Intellectual Property (IP), Legal, and Finance, to manage the entire project lifecycle of in-licensing initiatives.
4. Conduct thorough market analysis, competitive intelligence, and due diligence to assess the potential value and risks associated with each opportunity.
5. Negotiate and structure in-licensing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and adherence to regulatory requirements.
6. Support the launch of new products by coordinating activities across internal teams, including marketing, sales, regulatory, and manufacturing.
7. Develop and implement business development strategies to drive growth and maximise revenue through in-licensing activities.
8. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on in-licensing activities, progress, and potential risks.Opportunity to work with 27+ countries across Asia & Africa|Opportunity to work with a global pharma company1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Pharmacy or related field. A Pharmacist by education.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in in-licensing roles within the pharmaceutical industry, with a strong track record of successful deal closures.
3. In-depth knowledge and understanding of the pharmaceutical market landscape, therapeutic areas, and unregulated markets, especially in Asia and Africa.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with external stakeholders, negotiate deals, and build strong relationships.
5. Strong project management skills to liaise with various internal teams, including RA, QA, SC, MA, MSS, IP, Legal, and Finance, throughout the in-licensing process.
6. Strong analytic and research skills to evaluate potential opportunities, conduct due diligence, and assess market dynamics.
7. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence decision-making processes.
8. Result-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving business objectives and driving revenue growth.
9. Ability to adapt to a fast-The company focuses on the development, manufacturing, and distribution of high-quality pharmaceutical formulations across various therapy areas, including ortho, diabetic care, oncology, and biosimilars, in addition to having a diversified portfolio on consumer care product.Opportunity to work with a global pharma company.
