Capex buyer with experience in handling different types of materials and services required towards plant and facility operations.Job Responsibilities:
In-depth knowledge of Capex categories and the procurement process is needed to align stakeholders to drive Capex procurement projects.
Complete P2P cycle: Sending RFQ to the vendors, following up on the offers, evaluating and compiling the proposals, preparing Technical and Cost comparisons, Negotiation and PO generation.
Ensuring timely delivery of material/services, GRN preparation and Invoice booking and on-time payment to the vendor.
Drive the category to achieve laid-down KPI’s such as savings, turn-around time, budget consumption, new vendor development, etc.
Coordinate with internal customers such as plant engineering, production, administration, and operations to understand and implement planned Capex projects for the year within the allocated budget while deriving savings.
To manage several projects simultaneously, across various stakeholders and spend categories, while being able to manage priorities effectively to support and achieve on-time delivery of requirements and site launch dates.
Work in partnership both internally and with suppliers to provide continues support to company operations.Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/ MBA Operations.
4 to 6 Year Experience in Procurement.
Excellent Negotiation skills.
Complete knowledge of Procure to Pay Cycle.
Hands on experience in using MM module of SAP ERP.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong Financial analysis and quantitative skills.
