Software Tester (Automation)

• Involved in all phases of testing within a development project/release.
• Understand and analyze Business, Functional, Technical, and UI requirements of projects/releases
• Writing and executing manual test scripts based on User Stories and business requirements
• Maintain documents for projects/releases
• Create reports and testing metrics as requested by management
• Support the business users during UAT
• Work with all stakeholders in the test process including any 3rd party suppliers and internal teams.
• Identify and report risks - escalate issues on time to management
• Participate in test reviews and retrospectives, provide required support and clarifications as needed for the reviewers
• Ensure all testing deliverables and reports are version controlled and accessible for the testing team and other users
• Build relationships with internal teams and 3rd party suppliers

• 3 to 5 years Previous experience as a Test Engineer or similar role
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in writing automation tests
• Experience in writing API tests
• Hands on experience in using Selenium or anyother test automation suite or tools
• Familiarity with various testing techniques
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• Experience working with the following project methodologies – Agile and PRINCE2
• Good understanding of the different device and browser testing
• Bug reporting and tracking, bug analysis and reproduction
• Hands-on experience with Continues Integration and Jenkins – advantage
• Great knowledge of SQL – advantage
• Ability to build and maintain relationships
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent attention to detail
• ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
• Proactive in planning to achieve targets and objectives which deliver profitable outcomes
