Job Description:Education: BE EIE/ICE(Instrumentation and Control Engineering) or M.tech (Instrumentation or Automation)Experience: 3 - 8 years, experience in Design in Automation or Instrumentation Industry, Oil and Gas ,Thermal Power plant & solar plant background and also Substation .Objective: The person shall be responsible for Carrying out complete design and detailed engineering of instrumentation /Automation of Solar Power plants like Mini Grid and Mega watt scales plants ,roof top plants . The Design Engineer is responsible for carrying out the entire design for a project or a set of smaller projects including co-ordination with other disciplines viz., Electrical ,Civil and MechanicalDesign Engineers shall work with a team of draftsman to manage the Engineering activities within budget, deliver on time and maintaining a high quality of engineeringKey Responsibilities:

Preparation and Review of BOM by comparing it with ACE BOM
Design, Preparation and Validation of the instrumentation drawings like Control Systems Architecture, IO List ,Layout of Communication Cable routing, CCTV Layout of solar power plant projects etc.
Preparation and review of Pre-bid queries, DBR, BOQ & Scope of work for Proposal Engineering & Project Engineering.
Propose optimization Ideas during Pre-bid stage and also during project stage to reduce the Project Cost.
Ensuring design conformity to ISO Quality standards & contract technical specification.
Interaction with client for drawing approval & clarification.
Interaction with site for supporting installation and commissioning of Instrumentations Systems.
Interaction with SCM for arranging the required inputs from vendors.
Interaction With vendors for achieving the final output according to design and provide MFC for the Instrumentation equipment

Technical Expertise:

Expertise in PLC/SCADA system, Met station system , cable selections ,Telecom ,CCTV systems ,ACS(Access Control system),System Integration, Third party equipment integration system . Well versed in all the protocols of communication systems , Tracker control system . Knowledge in Electrical and Mechanical Equipment
