Your Role At Baxter The Sr Analyst, Finance - ISC Pharma is a meaningful role in the plant's team to assist the Plant Controller to provide financial support to the plant to achieve the key performance goals. Also plays a critical role to ensure internal control and finance compliance What You'll Be Doing Managing financial planning activities including Annual Plan (AOP), Forecasts and Long Range Plan (LRP) for manufacturing plant in co-ordination with various cross function folks. Managed Reporting and month close activities related to FP&A, Costing. Purchase Price Variance (PPV), Overhead Absorption, Waste and Value of Production (VOP) calculation. Work with external finance supporting teams to prepare routine metrics tracking, weekly pulse, month end close, quarterly forecasts, annual operating plan, standard costs, capital investments support, and financial performance reporting and analysis Developing new Reports / Dashboards / Presentations to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management and providing financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management. Develop & improve analysis tools to ensure data accuracy and information transparency between plant finance and internal/external functions/customers. Provide financial advice and decision support analysis to the plant functions/customers to ensure that the plant achieves the financial commitments. Work cross-functionally to proactively develop process improvements and identify cost savings opportunities (Margin Improvement Projects) Performing Plan vs Actual variance analysis to understand the key drivers of the results and sharing the commentary to senior managers for major variance vs plan / forecasts Product Costing and Batch wise Variance analysis - Standard vs Actual and coordinating with production team for commenting related to major variances. Inventory Reporting, Ageing and Inventory turnover / DOH Analysis Validate the Cost Saving computation of MIP / GB projects What You'll Bring Professional degree in Finance, MBA (Finance) / CA / CA (Inter) / CMA 3 to 7 years of work experience with financial planning and reporting, preferably in Manufacturing / Pharmaceuticals Strong attention to details and ability to multi-task and prioritize. Strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements, accounting principles, financial analysis and reporting, and relevant business environment.
