For more information, please visit us at atotech.comWe are looking for talented “Development Engineer 2”, to be based in Manesar, Gurgaon who will be responsible for will carrying out different approaches and methodologies to conduct different R&D activities related to product development, testing, qualification, troubleshooting, and process optimization.You will be working closely with colleagues from your own team, team manager, R&D manager, and other cross-functional departments. An open and clear communication with the team manager and R&D manager is expected. You are expected to come up with your own ideas and approaches to execute the tasks and duties successfully. When required, you will also act as a support to customer through consultation, trouble shooting, process optimization, site visits and on-site troubleshooting, maintaining the confidentiality and compliance of the department and the company.Your Responsibilities:

Creation of WBS, DoE s and independent planning of assigned tasks
Perform and execute assigned tasks and DoE towards project completion in a timely manner.
Develop and modify product formulation.
Testing and qualification of developed/ existing products.
Working and collaborating with other team members in laboratory environment
Bringing in your own ideas and strategies
Documentation of the ongoing tasks according to the prescribed format
Transparent and regular communication of task completion progress to stakeholders
Self-motivated and self-initiated actions to maintain the work culture and task completion.
Maintenance of 5S and safety as per the MKS MSD and department guidelines
Active participation in team building.
Maintaining the confidentiality of the projects and other Departmental information.
Interaction with the customer to troubleshoot, process optimization, and site visit/conducting trials at the customer site (if required).

What will you bring to the team:

MSc. in Chemistry / Polymer Chemistry / Physical Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Inorganic Chemistry
Experience in working laboratories, developing, and testing of formulations & products, and
qualification.
Preferred to have good knowledge in surfactant chemistry, paint chemistry and surface chemistry.
Independent project management, WBS and DoE preparation
Creative, structured, methodical, and time bound workstyle.
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Self-motivation, out of the box thinking, self-accountability, and strong sense of ownership.
1-2 years of experience in R&D with focus in Chemistry
