Position Overview: We are looking for a detail-oriented and results-driven Product Validation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing comprehensive validation tests to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of i-elektrik EV chargers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, hands-on experience with validation testing methodologies, and a passion for delivering high-quality products that exceed customer expectations. Key Responsibilities: Develop test plans, protocols, and procedures for validating the functionality, performance, and safety of i-elektrik EV chargers, in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Design and configure test setups, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems to conduct validation tests on hardware, firmware, and software components of EV chargers. Execute validation tests, collect and analyze test data, and generate comprehensive test reports documenting test results, findings, and recommendations for product improvements. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to identify validation requirements and ensure alignment with product specifications and customer requirements. Troubleshoot and debug issues discovered during validation testing, working closely with design engineers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and validation planning activities to provide input on product design and validation strategies. Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product validation and test automation, and leverage this knowledge to continuously improve validation processes and methodologies. Support regulatory compliance efforts, including certification testing and documentation, to ensure i-elektrik EV chargers meet all applicable standards and regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in product validation, test engineering, or related roles, preferably in the automotive, electronics, or renewable energy industry. Strong understanding of electrical circuits, power electronics, and embedded systems, with hands-on experience in hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing and validation. Proficiency in test automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and data analysis software for automating test procedures and analyzing test results. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), and environmental testing (e.g., UL, IEC, SAE). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive issues to resolution.
