- Hands-on experience in the development of electrical and electronic hardware for diagnostic/therapeutic healthcare systems
- Lead the architectural design of electrical and electronics systems, including schematic design, component selection, and system integration.
- Collaborate with hardware and software teams to define system requirements and specifications, ensuring alignment with project objectives and constraints.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, tracking progress and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Conduct thorough analysis and testing of prototypes and final products to validate design performance and reliability.
- Identify and mitigate risks, challenges, and bottlenecks throughout the project lifecycle, proactively implementing solutions to ensure project success.
- Communicate project status, updates, and key findings to stakeholders, including executives, clients, and external partners.
- Lead concept-to-product release for manufacturing, with a thorough understanding of New Product Introduction (NPI) processes, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Write electrical/electronics system and sub-system specifications, test plans, and specifications
- Have hands-on experience with application processors, Complex Programmable Logic Devices (CPLDs)/Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), as well as expertise in power circuits such as AC-DC and DC-DC.
- Proficient in circuit analysis and simulations for thermal, signal, and power integrity.
- Review electrical concepts, schematics, layout designs, and provide guidance to the team.
- Drive board bring-up, performance tests, debugging, and review with expert panels.
- Proven knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601-1, IEC 60601-1-2 for EMI/EMC, ISO 80601-2-13, and ISO 80601-2-55, capable of guiding and executing standards testing and mitigating related issues.
- Assess risks in advance, conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and perform reliability assessments.
- Engage in detailed discussions with suppliers, select the right partners/suppliers to develop Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) and cable assemblies, and drive cost-effective solutions to meet product cost targets.
