The journey starts here, with you at SITA.ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:The Senior Analyst Business Finance for Corporate support function(CSF) is responsible for providing timely and accurately financial support to the CSF business teams. You will provide key financial reporting as well as forward-looking business analysis to support CSF’s targets, strategy, and growth. You will identify and leverage best practices to promote financial excellence in serving the business by proactively engaging with the CSF Finance Leader, CSF Finance team members, CSF Senior Leaders and their Business Teams, Business Finance colleagues in the GEO’s, BU’s, Corporate Control and FP&A, seeking and providing guidance and advice on relevant matters.You will be reporting to the Senior Manager Business Finance - CSF and Provide financial support to the CSF business team.WHAT WILL YOU DO:Provide financial support to the CSF business team by:
  • Ensuring timely and accurate accounting entries for CSF, producing and controlling the period end results (Monthly & Year-end)
  • Performing analysis and reporting of financial results
  • Providing Financial controlling and support for projects
  • Participating in monthly reviews with P&L or cost owners
  • Completing and supporting the forecast process (at required granularity level)
  • Supporting CSF business partners with ad-hoc queries and analysis
  • Completing the budgeting process including support for the settlement of interlock reviews with relevant parties
Play an active role in Cost Controlling:
  • Verify the accuracy of cost accounting - reconcile performance to budget/forecast
  • Provide consistent and standard cost analysis across CSF business
  • Verify the accuracy of costs reporting through monthly/quarterly/yearly reports
  • Apply SITA standard methods and guidelines for cost allocation
  • Providing financial support to evaluate and simulate financial scenarios
Confirm and validate integrity of results recorded by:
  • Ensuring alignment between Statutory reporting and Management reporting results
  • Confirming IFRS and accounting policies compliance
  • Supporting the Audit activity
  • Playing an active role in the Balance Sheet control activity
Be actively involved in the financial control activities by
  • Ensuring alignment with capitalization best practices
  • Ensuring alignment with tax compliance activities
  • Ensuring alignment with corporate practices and standards
  • Ensuring alignment with the cost allocation methods and standard
Support delivery of improvement plans or special projects to increase the overall quality of the business finance function.QualificationsEXPERIENCE
  • University degree in Finance or Accounting is imperative
  • Membership of a relevant Finance/Accounting accreditation body desirable
  • Good knowledge of International accounting standards
  • Minimum 5 years work experience preferably within a large international company with a matrix business structure
  • Experience working as a finance business partner is an advantage
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Management Accounting practice
  • Financial and Budget Control experience essential
  • Proficient knowledge and understanding of Financial Systems and processes is critical (Competence in Oracle,
  • Hyperion, OneStream, PowerBI, Excel)
