Roles and Responsibility- Driving the production as per the production plan ensuring strict adherence to safety, quality and environment norms in order to meet the budgeted production targets. Managing the plant operations for the various pesticides products with safety, quality, productivity, meeting budget and delivery standards and driving manufacturing excellence activities, TQM. Interacting with the unit head, marketing & commercial functions & other functional heads to update on the production activities (planned vs. actual), coordinating on preventive maintenance, planning daily production and coordinating to ensure safe operations of the plant. Driving production of various pesticides products & monitoring the actual vs. planned production to ensure that the targets are being achieved as per the monthly plan. Ensuring achievement of the budgeted production purity of products, taking corrective action if purity is not achieved. Planning the changeover of products to avoid intermixing. Tracking actual norms and budgeted norms and taking corrective action to achieve the same. Monitoring the packaging of technical products based on the requirements of the customer. Monitoring the availability of manpower and other resources in the plant to ensure that the labor-intensive work is interrupted. Assisting driving cost improvement initiatives to ensure successful implementation of TQM initiatives to ensure optimal levels of manpower/machinery utilization at minimum costs. Engaging with team members to motivate and foster teamwork, understand and address concerns and provide a collaborative environment for them to develop. Education- Chemical Engineering. Work Experience- 8 years-12 years in chemical industry.
