Responsibilities The Director of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) shall be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts to maintain and improve the quality of education at an educational institution. The specific duties and responsibilities of the Director of IQAC may generally include: Developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures. Coordinating self-evaluation, periodic internal quality audits, and external quality assessments. Providing leadership and direction to the IQAC team, including staff and faculty members. Facilitating the development and maintenance of academic programs and courses. Collaborating with academic departments to ensure the integration of best practices in teaching, learning, and assessment. Ensuring that the institution is in compliance with accreditation standards and requirements. Building partnerships with stakeholders, including alumni, employers, and local communities, to enhance the quality of education offered by the institution. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation in education. Preparing and submitting reports on the activities and outcomes of the IQAC to the senior management and relevant external bodies. The Director of IQAC shall be reporting to the Vice-Chancellor of the university and work closely with the academic departments, administrative units, and other stakeholders to ensure the quality of education.
