- Support the team for design, coordination, planning and completion of engineering projects.
- Communicate with seniors to understand project requirements.
- Plan and formulate approach to tasks according to project requirements.
- Checking of work being done and modifying workplans to ensure QA/QC is always maintained.
- Monitor and control the time spent for the different tasks in the project to avoid time over-run.
- Explore ways to automate repetitive work and support computational design efforts in the office.
- Assist seniors with project delivery as required.
- 3-8 years of experience with projects similar in function, size and scope to the description above.
- Have experience in General Civil Works like site grading, earthworks, drainage, roads and pavements, fencing, hydraulic and underground piping systems in a design office of repute. Should have exposure to design office practices and familiarity with computer aided design and 3D modelling.
- Knowledge on design of Electrical substation related structure and foundation.
- Working knowledge of current industry software, including Sewer Gem, Water GEM, Civil 3D, ETABS, STAAD, Revit, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of Indian codes is mandatory. Familiarity with US, BS, Eurocodes is a plus.
- Willingness for programming, macros & Excel design sheets is desirable, though not mandatory
- Interest in working with Rhino, Grasshopper, Python coding will be a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and people management skills will be valuable.
- Knowledge of Indian codes is mandatory. Familiarity with US, BS, Eurocodes is a plus.
- Working knowledge of current industry software, including Sewer Gem, Water GEM, Civil 3D, STAAD, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
