Responsibilities: Project Management: Lead Tableau projects from initiation to completion. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop and maintain project timelines and resource plans. Team Leadership: Provide guidance and direction to Tableau development teams. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews. Tableau Development: Design and develop Tableau dashboards and reports. Ensure the implementation of best practices in Tableau development. Optimize Tableau performance and troubleshoot issues. Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers to integrate and prepare data for Tableau. Ensure data accuracy and consistency in Tableau visualizations. Implement data governance and security measures. Requirements Analysis: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze Tableau requirements. Translate business needs into technical Tableau solutions. Identify opportunities for Tableau usage to enhance business processes. Training and Development: Conduct training sessions for Tableau users and developers. Stay updated on Tableau features and advancements. Mentor team members and facilitate knowledge sharing. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and dashboard effectiveness. Implement testing processes for Tableau solutions. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams to integrate Tableau with other systems. Work with business analysts to understand reporting requirements. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in Tableau development. Keep abreast of industry trends and Tableau best practices. Leadership: Responsible for overall leadership, talent development, skill advancement, engagement, and retention of talent in the team Foster a learning mindset in the team to proactively develop research, story-telling skills, and leverage multiple sources of data to answer business questions Develop new capabilities by leveraging new sources of data and methods that include segment-level analysis and more Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build effective relationships to create win-win engagement models. Mentor and guide team members who could benefit from your expertise and experience Prerequisites: Any graduate degree (BE, BTech, MTech, MCA, or similar would be preferred) 6 to 9 years of relevant experience Proficient with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and MySQL Proficient with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Informatica, Talend or similar Nice-to-Have: Hands-on experience in Python, R Extensive experience working with core Pharma/Healthcare data (electronic medical records, anonymous patient-level data, prescription data, etc.) Hands-on experience in MicroStrategy, Qlik Sense, or Power BI
