You will be working as R&D Robot Engineer at global grade 14 and will be part of Robotics & Discrete Automation business for Robot Automotive division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Senior Engineering Manager and will be responsible for performing the technical analysis in order to design engineering documents like flowcharts, interface specifications and communication diagrams. Your responsibilities Translating market requirements into product requirements Working out the functional design (robot part of the system) Defining automation components (hardware, sensors and actuators) which are required to control the robot gripper and other peripherals Carrying out tests in context of Proof of Concept set-ups Responsible for robot code development (ABB robot studio) and third party path planners Performing in-house simulation and in-house commissioning in our workshop Your background Bachelor's degree or diploma in in electromechanics, electronics or automation Require 5 to 6 years of experience in robot programming Hands on experience with applications like material handling, pick and place application and welding application Experience working with conveyor systems Experience with ABB Robot, experience in simulation software robot studio. Basic knowledge on C# and .net.
